  • STEPS IN BECOMING AN OFFICIAL:

    1. Complete the GCBOA Registration CONTACT form at the top right of this page.
    2. Register with the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). List the GCBOA as your primary association.
    3. Florida sports officials must be screened against the sexual predators list required by the Jessica Lunsford Act (JLA Card).
    4. Attend Training Sessions at local officials association.
    5. Take the FHSAA test (online).
